Some friends of ours just adopted this beautiful baby boy, and happen to be stuck here in EC for the next couple of weeks while their paperwork is finished. Thankfully, they agreed to let me take a few pictures of him, and I must say, he is the most gorgeous baby! Here he is:
The other day, the girls and I went for a drive and came across the Rod and Gun Park here in Eau Claire. What a fun place! Gracie had a great time on the tire swing, and we found cute little ponds and bridges to explore. Here are a few snapshots from our afternoon.

Today was a BEAUTIFUL day--82 degrees and sunny--the perfect day to get out and take some pictures. Little H just turned a year old, and her brother E recently turned 4. They did so well for me! Here are a few from their shoot.
Yesterday, I climbed down a steep bank in order to get a few shots of this beautiful old mill and waterfall. It was well worth the dirt and burrs to be able to get this shot. I like the "old photo" vintage feel to it. Here is the before and after.
This past week, we packed up and drove to Michigan for a visit with my parents. While I was there, I attended a one-day photography class, and he gave us an assignment to go out and shoot some interesting things. My first shoot was with an old friend of mine, and we drove to a downtown area and looked for interesting backgrounds. Here are some of the things we came up with.
