Second Shooter

A few weeks back, I had the incredible opportunity to second shoot a wedding with a friend of ours. It was a huge eye opener and it also allowed me to break in my brand new camera! Not sure if I will ever break in to the wedding market, but it was fun to get some experience.
Here is a collage of a few of the pics I took.

mini sessions

I have recently started offering mini sessions for those families who just want one good photo of themselves. I take a few different poses, and then the client chooses which one they want, and they receive an 8x10 plus the digital file so they can use it however they want. Here are a couple from recent mini sessions.

L and M engagement pictures

This past weekend, we were up north visiting family for the holiday weekend. I met up with L and M who are getting married this September! We decided to do some engagement pictures at Amnicon River and finish up at Lake Superior. We had a blast, and these two don't take a bad picture!

The B family

I got a call this morning, asking if I was free to do a shoot for a family who is in town visiting from Texas. The only time we could fit it is was tonight, so we met down at Rod and Gun for a few pictures. Little E did NOT want his picture taken, but warmed up towards the end of the shoot, and I was able to get quite a few cute smiles!

The E Family

We met the E family while playing at the park awhile back. I'm so glad they asked me to do some pictures. Here's a few from our shoot at Carson park last week.

The M Family

We had such a great time during our shoot at Rod and Gun park. The M family is so laid back and the kids were so easy to photograph. Here's a sneak peak of time together.

Urban and Park shoot

The M family are good friends of ours, and wanted to replace several of the pictures in their house, since none of them included their youngest child. We decided to do two separate shoots with completely different feels to them.
First, we did a more urban shoot with different buildings/textures in the background.

Then, we decided to do a more traditional park shoot. Rod and Gun park is beautiful this time of year...lots of flowers and greenery.

Catching up

I've been so busy lately--setting up my new business, taking, editing, and ordering photos...I've done several shoots lately that I'd like to share.

First, baby E was born at the end of May...here are a few of his newborn shots.

Baby Tyler

Some friends of ours just adopted this beautiful baby boy, and happen to be stuck here in EC for the next couple of weeks while their paperwork is finished. Thankfully, they agreed to let me take a few pictures of him, and I must say, he is the most gorgeous baby! Here he is:

We found a new park!

The other day, the girls and I went for a drive and came across the Rod and Gun Park here in Eau Claire. What a fun place! Gracie had a great time on the tire swing, and we found cute little ponds and bridges to explore. Here are a few snapshots from our afternoon.

Today was a BEAUTIFUL day--82 degrees and sunny--the perfect day to get out and take some pictures. Little H just turned a year old, and her brother E recently turned 4. They did so well for me! Here are a few from their shoot.
